Some students want to “get out the vote.”
They are happy to maintain the status quo: the “choice” between parties that mirror each other in so many ways.
Students For Liberty wants to change all that. We want to disrupt the status quo. It’s time to highlight the alternative:
Liberty.
And our campus disorientation strike teams aim to do just that.
SFL’s “Get Out The Liberty” campaign is offering activism grants of up to $250 for students with creative ideas about how to spread the message of a free and prosperous society on their campus. We want to attract new students to our movement: ones who are sick and tired of the current election cycle and demand an alternative.
Rather than “getting out the vote”, we at SFL want to focus on Getting Out The Liberty.
Stuck for inspiration? Throughout our time as an organization, SFL activists have devised innovative and exciting activism events that attract new students to the cause of liberty, including:
- Giant free speech balls. No, seriously.
- #NotJustAGun tabling and other events to promote 2nd Amendment rights.
- Operation Politically Homeless, which makes use of the World’s Smallest Political Quiz.
- Constitution Day events like last year’s Free Speech Wall at Ohio University.
