Deep Web Screening at Columbus State University

11The Columbus State University chapter of Young Americans for Liberty, in cooperation with Students for Liberty, hosted a screening of “Deep Web” on-campus. The screening was YAL @ CSU’s most successful event with fourteen students in attendance. A small handful of these students admitted to only showing up for the free pizza and ended the showing with many questions about both our organization and the principles of liberty in general.

Every single student in attendance said that they had either learned something new about the Silk Road case or were exposed to a new perspective on the War on Drugs. In the succeeding weeks, Joshua Staples, the YAL chapter president will follow up with the students to invite them to future meetings and to participate in activism events on campus.
