SFL In The Media – March 2017 Highlights

 

Students For Liberty and our network of activists are regularly featured in national and international media outlets on a wide variety of topics. Below are some examples of SFL’s media presence during March 2017.

 

  • Our North American staff and student activists have had their work published in a number of high-profile media outlets. Campus Coordinator Jacob Linker’s article Fordham’s Decision to Block Pro-Palestine Group Is an Attack on My Academic Freedom was popular on Townhall, while Communications Associate Michael Hall’s call to abolish the National Weather Service was featured in The Washington Examiner.
  • Hong Kong Students For Liberty are hosting high-profile North Korean defector Yeonmi Park, who will speak about her experiences in early April. Yeonmi’s address has generated media coverage, with the Hong Kong Free Press promoting the event here.
  • Vilnius Students For Liberty reported on the recent protests in Belarus against President Alexander Lukashenko, with their comments being published on one of the largest news sites in Lithuania here.
  • The Foundation for Economic Education’s Jeffrey Tucker wrote extensively about his experiences at European Students For Liberty’s huge LibertyCon event in Prague. Read the full article here.
