Our largest event in May was a massive success. With over 150 attendees, Batumi Conference was the 4th ESFL Conference in Georgia. First 3 took place in Tbilisi and were marked as the largest student gatherings in the region. Discussed topics included current issues, such as the role of the government in a free society, importance of individual freedom, free market economy, understanding of libertarian ideas and more.

Students For Liberty in Israel held an engaging debate “SOCIALISM VS. CAPITALISM” between Yaron Brook from The Ayn Rand Institute and Efraim Davidi for SFL group in Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva.
Our leaders in Israel also organised their 3rd annual Leadership forum in order to get more training and discuss their strategy for the upcoming year. While in Israel, Kevin Flanagan and Ozgur Ozer gave an interview to a local radio station.
In April, ESFL leaders from all around Europe created a video in order to bring more attention to the current situation of LGBT people in Chechnya and to support #Chechnya100. Following this campaign, our leaders form Lithuania attended a protest against human rights and violations in Chechnya.
Similar protest in front of the Russian embassy was joined by our leaders from Izrael!
