In addition to the star line-up of speakers we’ve already announced — from anarchist economist David Friedman, to Brexit architect Daniel Hannan, and Whole Foods entrepreneur John Mackey — we’re excited to today announce that former Estonian Prime Minister Mart Laar will be joining us as well!

In barely two years, from 1992 to 1994, the radical reforming government of Mart Laar was the first in Europe to introduce the flat tax, privatize most national industry in transparent public tenders, abolish tariffs and subsidies, stabilize the economy, and balance the budget.

Laar claims the only book on economics he had read before becoming prime minister at the age of 32 was Free to Choose by Milton Friedman. We’re so excited to have him as a speaker!
