Why the Tanzania Students for Liberty Conference Was a Huge Success

On the 4-5th of November, Tanzania Students for Liberty and Liberty Sparks held the second Tanzanian Students For Liberty Regional Conference and Students for Liberty Leadership Training in Tanzania. Both events gathered more than 100 students from the most famous universities all over the country.

The participants got a chance not only to learn more about liberty, but also discuss all the ideas and questions they had in mind with speakers during the conference.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Creating Wealth through Free Markets” and among the topics discussed, The Introduction to Ideas of Liberty And SFL by the Executive Director of Liberty Sparks, Evans Exaud, really stood out. He gave a presentation on SFL’s Leadership Programme.

Talks such as “Liberty as Ideology”, “Free Market in Africa”, “Beyond Employment”, “Entrepreneurship”, “Private enterprises in Tanzania” and a panel discussion where speakers debated on whether the free market is a solution for the Africa economic stagnation contributed to the success of the conference.
