Students For Liberty (SFL) is the largest libertarian student organization in the world with student leaders spanning well over 100 countries on every inhabited continent. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities.

Position summary

Students For Liberty is currently seeking a passionate and professional individual to join the global communications team, working to promote events, programs, and initiatives to a global audience. This role requires established experience in both traditional and digital marketing.

A successful candidate will have a firm commitment to classical liberal ideas and to SFL’s mission statement.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day communications & marketing operations
  • Create, implement, and evaluate social media campaigns
  • Create, implement, and evaluate email campaigns
  • Update and maintain multiple social media pages
  • Manage, write, and edit blog content
  • Manage and update multiple digital assets
  • Assist in the development of communication and marketing strategies
  • Manage partnerships with other organizations

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are required:

  • Fully proficient in English writing
  • Facebook Ad Manager experience
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Email marketing experience
  • Ability to balance many different projects while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity, humility and an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Positive, goal-oriented outlook
  • Willingness to learn, be proactive and provide assistance as necessary
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, etc.)
  • Trustworthy and ability to show discretion

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

  • Experience in social media management tools
  • Blog/Editorial experience
  • Experience with Pardot (Salesforce)
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience creating graphics for social media
