European Programs Associate

Our Mission:

Students For Liberty is a rapidly growing network of pro-liberty students from all over the world. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We are the largest pro-liberty student organization in the world. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities. Last year, we organized more than 500 events with 30,000 attendees.

Job Summary:

European Students For Liberty, a region within Students For Liberty, is now looking for a Programs Associate who will work full time on supporting ESFL program, leaders and groups and help further develop a network that includes 45+ countries and 300+ leaders. The position is open immediately.

Programs associate will be responsible for work with our volunteers and leaders, help further develop the network, our excellent training, and local events, help in gathering data and working with leaders from across Europe.

Programs associate will also be in charge of leading and further developing ESFL Leadership Fora and Regional Conferences and this position will likely involve regular travelling throughout Europe to represent our organisation and meet with students and volunteers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee activities of leaders
  • Develop tools and procedures that enhance training quality and impact.
  • Ensure training, advanced training and leadership transition is done properly
  • Train and consult student leadership in effective planning and execution of local events, Leadership Fora and training programs and group management
  • Manage and support the creation of local groups within the region.
  • Prompt and facilitate new student projects and programs.
  • Reporting to ESFL Programs Director

  • Experience in volunteer or people management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously with entrepreneurial drive.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Interest in working in a dynamic team
  • Passionate about the ideas of liberty
  • Ready to work flexible hours and travel according to need.
  • Ability to build and manage spreadsheets to track data.
