SFL Instagram Internship

Students For Liberty (SFL) is the largest libertarian student organization in the world with student leaders spanning well over 100 countries on every inhabited continent. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities.

Position Summary

Students For Liberty is currently seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy, and highly organized intern to manage SFL’s main brand Instagram account. This role requires established experience managing social media account(s), including Instagram (preferably for a company, but successful personal account management will be considered). A successful candidate will have a firm commitment to classical liberal ideas and to SFL’s mission statement.

Responsibilities

  • Share regular content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community engagement
  • Grow our audience by developing an Instagram page that stands out among the noise
  • Capture and analyze the appropriate data/metrics and act on the insights
  • Develop and execute strategies to use Instagram to enhance SFL’s image
  • Work with the communications team to develop Instagram content for marketing campaigns and other advertising initiatives for SFL’s events as required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

  • Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
  • Proven social media management experience
  • A passion for social media communications
  • The ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities
  • Integrity, humility and an entrepreneurial attitude

Compensation

This position is an unpaid, part-time internship with the opportunity to grow with Students For Liberty.
