Bio: Prince Michael acquired a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Magister der Sozial und Wirtschaftswissenschaft) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität). While finishing this degree he completed many periods of practical training with banks and manufacturing companies in the US, Canada, and Belgium. He worked in the international food industry with Nestlé from 1978 to 1987. In 1987 he returned to Liechtenstein as Managing Director of Industrie und Finanzkontor Etablissement, a leading financial services and trust company. He is now the Executive Chairman of Industrie und Finanzkontor Etablissement. In addition, he is a member of numerous professional organizations and engages with various free market think tanks within Europe.

In 2011, His Serene Highness spoke at the first annual European Students For Liberty Conference and has supported its growth ever since.
