Andie Moore

Andie Moore

Bio: Andie Moore is an 18-year old New Zealand-born libertarian, active in radical free market politics and social activism, and is a BA student in Politics and International Studies and Social Theory at the University of Melbourne. They helped found Wellington Students for Liberty, started LibertyFest NZ (Aotearoa’s first young libertarian conference), and are passionate about applying liberal arts and social theory to libertarianism, advocating for freedom on all fronts as a way to bring about social justice.

Favorite Figures in Liberty: Jeffrey Tucker, Murray Rothbard, Samuel Edward Konkin III, Karl Hess, Michel Foucault

On Students For Liberty: SFL is so great because it allows for so much debate, and discussion of challenging ideas which don’t make into the hyperpartisan, political mainstream. Students are, in my opinion, the demographic most drawn to liberty, and SFL embraces this view, empowering them to think of freedom as a consistent philosophy rather than just a virtue, and to construct their own conceptualisations of a free society.
