Apply for a Share Humanity Activism Grant Before March 31st

Around the world, politicians continue to argue about immigration. That’s well and fine; there are legitimate questions to ask. But, these questions are no excuse to stop citizens from reaching out to refugees of war in need of help.

That’s what motivated Students For Liberty to launch our Share Humanity activism grants. From now until March 31st, student leaders like yourself can apply for a $250 reimbursement to organize an event related to refugee acceptance.

Here are some event ideas that have been recently accepted for grants:

  • Harvard_2.jpgHiram College Students For Liberty is planning a clothing drive for refugees.
  • The Harvard Libertarian Forum sponsored an Open Borders Day discussion with immigration experts Lant Pritchett, Bryan Caplan, Jeffrey Miron and Valerie Vande Panne (see photo).
  • Young Americans for Liberty at the University of Missouri have confirmed a partnership with their campus’ College Democrats chapter for a clothing drive.

These are just three of dozens of ideas that your club can receive $250 to organize. Check out a full list on SFL’s site and apply before March 31st.
