While political posturing and scandals abound, we all need some good news for a change.
So, we’ve decided to extend early bird ISFLC17 prices until after the US election. You’ve now got until midnight November 8th to register at reduced rates.
If you still need to register, today’s your lucky day! We hope this extension brightens election week for you, and gives you some hope for the future of liberty.
If you’ve already registered, let your friends know there’s still time to take advantage of low registration rates. After the 8th, tickets will be $40 for student attendees and $75 for general admission. And they only go up from there!
On top of today’s price extension, we’ve also got another speaker announcement:
It’s my pleasure to announce that Hürriyet columnist Mustafa Akyol will be speaking at ISFLC17 on the subject of Islam and liberty.
In addition to his work at Hürriyet, Akyol writes for the website Al-Monitor: The Pulse of the Middle East, and The International New York Times.
His articles have also appeared in Foreign Affairs, Newsweek, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian.
He studied political science and history at the Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, where he still lives. His book, Islam without Extremes: A Muslim Case for Liberty, an argument for “Muslim liberalism” was published by W.W. Norton in July 2011, and received praise from the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, the Economist and more.
To hear from Mr. Akyol at ISFLC17 – and all of our amazing speakers – just click below or visit www.isflc.org to register today!
