It is with great pleasure that Students For Liberty officially announces our partnership with the William and Joan Scholarship Fund at The Ohio State University. The scholarship, which is exclusively available to students involved with SFL’s programming attending Ohio State University, seeks to provide financial aid for the purpose of helping students pay for their education.
The William and Joan Johnson Scholarship Fund was established February 4, 1994, and has established an endowed fund with gifts designated for support of scholarships from William J. Johnson (B.S.Ed. ’66), and Joan A. Johnson (B.S.Ed. ’64).
The annual distribution shall be used to provide renewable scholarships to students who are involved in the Students For Liberty network. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide scholarships to students attending the University who demonstrate their enthusiasm for taking personal responsibility to build societies structured around the principle that individual freedom builds great and prosperous societies to the betterment of all mankind. Recipients will be selected by Student Life, in consultation with Student Financial Aid.
Students will be required to fill out a scholarship application provided by the Office of Student Life. For more details about the scholarship, please inquire with the Office of Student Life at The Ohio State University.
