Design Associate

Students For Liberty is currently seeking a passionate and professional individual to assist with our branding and graphics. Our design team currently works on a wide range of products, from promo items to publications and web graphics to infographics. This individual will work with and train under the current Director of Design to learn SFL’s branding and aesthetic in order to create designs that will be used to represent SFL around the world.

This position is a remote, part-time role with potential for full-time based in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Design Team to create and execute a vision for design requests
  • Maintain a cohesive vision and brand for SFL
  • Develop concepts, graphics, and layouts for logos, websites, and printed materials
  • Create graphics to support SFL’s efforts across the globe

Qualifications

A background in the following is strongly preferred, but not required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with the fundamental principles of web design and graphic design
  • Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Suite
  • Functional knowledge of WordPress
  • 1 or more years of experience in graphic design
  • Ability to work quickly and under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Google Documents
  • Ability to balance many different projects while maintaining attention to detail
