Our development programs help pro-liberty students all over the world, and have already trained several thousand student leaders around the world. SFL’s Campus Coordinator Program equips students with the tools to engage in effective grassroots organizing. For all our volunteers, SFL provides resources ranging from activism kits, to online training, and inter-regional knowledge shares.

Abeed Khader
Chair of the South Asia Executive Board
Bio: Born and grew up in Kerala, India. Abeed completed his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from KMEA Engineering College in 2015. He was introduced to Libertarianism through Tom G Palmer’s ‘Why Liberty’ that was printed and distributed by SFL leaders of the 2014 South Asia chartered teams. He created ‘Students For Liberty – Kerala’ in 2014 prior to joining SFL, to promote classical liberalism in Kerala; which is a state in India dominated by communist ideals. He was taken in as a South Asia Local Coordinator in the same year. He also served as the head of B. Pokker Sahib Memorial Legal Study Centre at his college; the club discussed and conducted speaker sessions on various regulatory laws in Indian industries. He continues volunteering in SFL along with his designing job in Priedemann Facade Experts.

Andrés Pino Coto
Chairman of Eslibertad
Bio: Andrés Pino is a graduate of International Relations of the University of El Salvador. He became acquainted with the ideas of liberty after reading about Frédéric Bastiat's economic thinking. He has been working for the cause of liberty since 2012, year in which he participated and obtained an honorable mention in an essay competition organized by CREO and sponsored by the University Francisco Marroquín (UFM). He is a FEE and CATO alumni. He is also a former member of the Academic Committee of CREO, a former International Cooperation intern for TECHO-El Salvador and a former legislative journalist for CURUL 85. He is currently the Chairman of the Students for Liberty Latinamerica and a member of the Students for Liberty International Executive Board.

On Students for Liberty: Since becoming part of Students for Liberty in 2014, I've had the honor to work beside the most passionate and intelligent pro-liberty students from around the world. After all these years, I've also developed new leadership skills and deepened my knowledge about the importance of liberty in everyday life. Being part of such a great organization has definitely changed my life in more aspects that I could've ever imagined.

Chair of the North American Executive Board
Bio: Chris currently serves as the Chairman of the North American Executive Board and has previously served as a Students For Liberty Campus Coordinator & West Regional Director, Young Americans for Liberty State Chair, Field Director for Americans for Prosperity, Staff for a Utah State Senator, Executive Producer of a political radio show, and in several campaign positions. Chris intends to continue to advance liberty throughout his lifetime by working within the liberty network to encourage entrepreneurship and business creation. He’s an experienced activist who is excited to help take Students For Liberty even further in the fight for liberty.

Francesco Direnzo Crapuzzi
Regional Director for Bolivia
Bio: Francesco is from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, a descendant of Italian immigrants, he studied International Relations and Conflict Resolution at NUR University, he was taught mostly about Marxism and felt that the school was really biased towards Marx and socialists ideas. During 2013 and in his search for an alternative he got in touch with the newly formed charter team of students for
liberty in Bolivia, that’s when he got interested in liberty ideas and got involved with SFL. He became a member and was amongst the first generation of Local Coordinators in Bolivia, he was also the Regional Director for Bolivia in 2016 and now a member of the Latin America Executive Board and the International Executive Board.

On Students For Liberty: Joining SFL was one of the best decisions I’ve taken, I learned so many things I wasn’t able to during my university years, due to biases in education and the leaning to socialism in my country. I feel Students For Liberty has a lot to do, but I believe we have the best people in the right places to do so.
Igor Sampaio
Regional Director of the Northeast of Brasil
Bio: Igor is a 20-years-old business' student, he was born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. In 2014, Igor in high school had his first contact with pro-liberty movement and joined Students For Liberty in the second fiscal year of 2015, He served as State Coordinator for Rio Grande do Norte, Regional Coordinator for the Brazilian Northeast, and is currently responsible for the Management Group of Students For Liberty Brazil as Management Coordinator.

Bio: Ryan Khurana is a recent graduate of the University of Manchester, where he studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. During his studies, he worked extensively with the Institute of Economic Affairs in London, winning their first ever Student Breakthrough Prize for advancing a free market policy proposal to combat poverty. He currently works as a Research Fellow at the Consumer Choice Center, an SFL-affiliate organisation, and will be a Visiting Fellow at the CEVRO Institute in Prague. He is passionate about helping small businesses grow, and providing people with the economic freedom they need to succeed in life.
