Global Campaigns Associate

Students For Liberty is now looking for a Global Campaigns Associate to work full time on the management and expansion of our Global Campaigns, ran across all the regions where SFL operates.

 

The Global Campaigns Associate will be responsible for campaign management, training, events support and promotion, student grant administration, and data collection and organization on the activities of the campaign activities. The Global Campaigns Associate will also be responsible for collaboration with support teams in order to support campaigns creation and advancement.

The position is remote and requires some international and regional travel. A successful candidate will have a firm commitment to libertarian ideas and to SFL’s mission statement and ideally a passion for the issues covered by the SFL Global Campaigns programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Organize campaign activities, planning and executing local campaign events and activities, communication with student leaders and online and in-person training
  • Mentor student leaders and work with them to create campaign activities
  • Prompt and facilitate new student campaign activities and programs based on needs of the campaigns
  • Support the student event and resources grant applications, review, execution, and reporting process
  • Train and consult student leadership in effective planning and execution of events, conferences, retreats, and trainings related to campaigns
  • Ensure quality control of campaign activities 
  • Ensure timely and complete event and other campaign related project reporting
  • Facilitate data collection and processing
  • Support Global Campaigns communication efforts
  • Uphold SFL’s values, culture and brand 

 

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Fluency in English
  • Volunteer management and/or supervising skills and experience
  • Program and/or project management skills and experience
  • Ability to balance many different programs while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in English
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Integrity, humility, and an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Positive, goal-oriented outlook
  • Willingness to learn and provide assistance as necessary
  • High proficiency with Google Office Suite (preferred) and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the effective use of Social Media platforms and online communication tools
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to show discretion
  • Ability to self-motivate, work autonomously, and show entrepreneurial drive in a remote work environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities
  • Flexibility and team-focus in prioritizing projects and tasks 
  • Willingness to travel frequently

 

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate life experience
  • Passport and some travel experience
  • Previous involvement with Students For Liberty
  • Languages other than English are a plus
