Learn Liberty Production Associate

Learn Liberty, a project of Students For Liberty, is currently seeking a passionate and professional individual to help with content development and management for the Learn Liberty YouTube channel and social media properties. The individual in this role will be responsible for categorization and promotion of existing content, development of new video ideas, research and scripting of videos, and in general the growth and integration of the Learn Liberty and integration of that brand with Students For Liberty’s objectives.

A successful candidate will have a firm commitment to libertarian ideas and to SFL’s mission statement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing relationships with hosts, professors, and other speakers that work with Learn Liberty
  • Content development – including video ideation, research, and scripting for educational videos
  • Assembling and collaborating with video production crews including both in-house staff and vendors
  • Evaluating video performance in the YouTube channel and metrics-informed decisions on content production
  • Ensure timely and complete reporting on video and channel performance
  • Uphold SFL’s values, culture and brand

 

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Fluency in English;
  • Ability to balance many different projects while maintaining attention to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Integrity, humility and an entrepreneurial attitude;
  • Positive, goal-oriented outlook;
  • Willingness to learn and provide assistance as necessary;
  • G Suite proficiency;
  • Trustworthy and ability to show discretion.

 

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with YouTube;
  • Professional working proficiency in languages other than English;
  • Experience with producing scripts;
  • Training, instructional design, or related experience;
  • Experience applying best practices in adult education.
