Students For Liberty is the largest libertarian student organization in the world with student leaders spanning well over 100 countries on every inhabited continent. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities.

Position Summary

Students For Liberty is currently seeking a passionate and professional individual to grow online education and training programs internationally. SFL Academy (sflacademy.org) is designed to develop students both intellectually and professionally. The individual in this role will oversee execution of multiple programs housed in the academy and will substantively contribute to the development of new programs as well.

A successful candidate will have a firm commitment to libertarian ideas and to SFL’s mission statement.

Responsibilities

  • Building SFL Academy courses in our online education and training platform;
  • Monitoring and supporting progress of students through SFL Academy courses;
  • Evaluation of student performance in SFL Academy programs;
  • Training students to help them develop both intellectually and professionally;
  • Development of new trainings and courses for SFL Academy that target at the needs of SFL students;
  • Collaborating with SFL staff and non-staff instructors on course development and execution;
  • Collaborating with international SFL staff to identify students for leadership programs.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Ability to balance many different projects while maintaining attention to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Integrity, humility and an entrepreneurial attitude;
  • Positive, goal-oriented outlook;
  • Willingness to learn and provide assistance as necessary;
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel proficiency;
  • Familiarity with Google Docs;
  • Trustworthy and ability to show discretion.

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with learning management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Schoology, Litmos, or Udemy;
  • Video production experience;
  • Professional working proficiency in languages other than English;
  • Experience executing effective educational activism;
  • Training, instructional design, or related experience;
  • Experience applying best practices in adult education.
